The note about China Unicom traffic going through AS4837 via Europe applies only to the new IP range used by the discounted $24/year option. Your VPS (VPS-280, 94.241..) is on our standard range and is not affected.
We have just tested the route to your IP from China Unicom networks in Changsha and Guilin: traffic moves from AS4837 onto AS9929 and goes straight to Los Angeles, at about 160-170 ms with no packet loss. Return traffic also uses AS9929. So there is no detour through Europe for your server, and this is the normal routing of the standard range, not a temporary arrangement.
If your own connection shows something different, please send us a traceroute and we will look into it.
